Frost Hill Farm was allocated as a scatter field for Odiham in 1940 but was not used until December 1940 ,when it used force practice forced landings by aircaft of the Franco-Belgian School at Odiham.The School continued to use the site ,with Magisters and Lysanders during 1941.In July 1942 the field was designated as an ALG(Alternative Landing Ground) and in 1943 ,two Sommerfield Track runways were laid.However the airfield was not used as far as is known ,and in 1945 the runways were removed and the site turned over to Maintenance Command.In the 80s and 90s the field was used for training by helicopters from Middle Wallop.
